FAQ's
It's likely you're here because there are elements of this process that you'd like to understand a little more, you may be feeling like you're awkward in front of the camera or you're not sure if i'm the right fit for your brand. Or perhaps you're worried that your kids will in no way be 'obedient' during a photo shoot.
Hopefully I can put your mind at ease, and remind you that I am in fact nothing more than a fly on the wall, a friend with a camera, someone that will capture the magic that you are yet to see.
Family photoshoots
I want to reassure you that I chose this career because I love the pace and creative flow that kids bring to a photoshoot.
I will never require them to sit still, I always work in a way that lets them lead and creates a fun and explorative experience.
What should I wear?
This shoot is all about you and capturing a moment in time, don't turn up in a shirt you don't like or a dress you wouldn't normally wear. Be yourselves, wear what you're most comfortable in. Neutrals typically work well and colours that compliment each other and skin tones, but if you don't feel comfortable in your clothes, you won't feel comfortable in front of the camera.

​I want it at home but my house isn't photogenic and is a mess.
One of my favourites, I'll let you in to a little secret... we don't need the whole house, we just need a couple of corners (shhhh!) Typically a couple of well lit spaces will do the trick, by windows, bright rooms or even in the garden. Don't worry about tidying the whole house.

​What outside location should I choose?
You can either choose somewhere that holds special memories to your family, or you can let me guide you towards a beautiful location that will suit you. From beaches to woodlands, I have plenty that can inspire you.

My style is very much 'storytelling', I'll work with you to portray your story through imagery. Often as business owners we look past the details that make our product and services so special, I'll capture your uniqueness and bring it to light for your potential customers.
Will I be able to use the photos on my social media?
Absolutely! Designed to be aimed at creating a broad gallery of images that you can pick from to create content online or use on your website and marketing.

Do I have to be in the photos or will you just do product shots?
This one comes up a lot! Obviously it's your choice but i'm a great believer that putting a face to a brand not only increases sales, but also helps to build trust with your customer base. After all YOU are what makes your business different from all the rest.
